I’m Brandon, a songwriter from Louisiana. I’ve been writing songs and playing music for more than 20 years — in bands, in churches, on stages, and probably more often than anywhere else, sitting at home with a guitar trying to turn an idea into a song.
Brandon Writes Songs is where I share that process. The finished songs, the unfinished ones, the old lyrics I rediscover in notebooks, and the new ideas I’m still figuring out.
I write about real life — faith, family, relationships, growing up, getting older, and the things that tend to stick with us.
At the end of the day, I just want to write songs with something to say.
